Shipping route

The shipping route is not fixed (although there are fixed arrival and departure days) but made by skipper and guest. Important are guest’s preferences, but the weather forecast also plays an important role. The skipper knows the area very well and can give good advice about nice spots, for young as well as for older people, taking into account the guest’s preferences and sailing experiences.

During your holiday it is possible to make adaptations to the route, for example if you like to stay another night at a certain place. The skipper finally decides, based on the weather and the remaining days if the adaptation is possible.

Skipper

The skipper will be, most probably, capable of speaking English. For sure, he is very well capable of sailing the yacht by himself. Naturally, help is always welcome, especially during entering and leaving.

The skipper will remain aboard during your entire holiday and will have his own shipping cabin. To enter this cabin, he does not need to enter inside the yacht. He will dispose of a bed, a sink and a toilet.

Intermediate harbours

It is the guest’s choice which harbours will be visited. One can choose as well to anchor for the night.

It is possible to do groceries in a harbour. The skipper will provide you, while discussing the route on the first day of your holiday, with information where and when this can be done.

It is also possible to hire a hostess/cook during your holiday. He/she will take care of the groceries and the cooking (so preferred harbours to do the shopping). Please keep in mind that one of the four cabins will be reserved for the cook, which means that 3 cabins for 2 persons remain available.

Beds are made on arrival: bath linen is also available. If the boat is rented for 2 weeks, it is possible to hire a second set.
